Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten decades. She was part, and captain, of both the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Final Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman was one of the gymnasts from the United States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. This meant that she became the first American at the Olympics with the top amount of medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her partner Gabby Doug were among the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals in team events. Also, she received silvers in individual all around and floor exercises. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began when she was just two years old and is a fan of floor exercise. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly hopes to be a fashion designer and expand the range of her socks and leotards in the coming years. The book she is working on is called Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
